Project Manager (f/m/d) at Aesir Interactive in Munich, Bavaria, Germany

Your role:

As a Project Manager at Aesir Interactive, you will assume a key position in our project management team. You are responsible for coordinating projects as well as further developing our project management processes. You report directly to the project leadership and ensure smooth workflows and effective communication between various departments.

Your Daily Work

Management of stakeholders and communication with internal and external departments.
Leading and motivating the team to ensure efficient workflows and acting as a central communication interface.
Leading and coordinating game development teams through all project phases—from conception and development to release and subsequent support.
Strategic planning, scheduling, and risk management of projects, including budget control and resource planning.
Monitoring project progress by organizing and leading meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Further development of project management processes and implementation of best practices.

Your Profile

Several years of experience in project management, ideally in game development or a related industry.
A degree in project management or a related field is beneficial.
Profound knowledge of agile methods (e.g., Scrum/Kanban), waterfall planning, and common project management tools.
Experience with Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Excel, and other project management software.
Excellent organizational skills and strong risk management capabilities.
Leadership qualities with experience in team management and employee development.
Excellent communication skills in English and German, both spoken and written.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to tackle challenges efficiently.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Organization: Create detailed project plans, define milestones, and set schedules.
Resource Management: Allocate and manage budgets, personnel, and material resources.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to minimize them.
Process Optimization: Implement and improve project management methods and processes.
Monitoring Project Progress: Track tasks and objectives to ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate also has:

Passion for games and an understanding of game development processes.
Certifications in project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar qualifications.
Experience in implementing project management standards and processes within a company.
