Job Description

As a Principal Product Manager at Grindr, you'll define and execute the product roadmap, aligning with company goals and user needs. You will lead cross-functional teams (design, engineering, data analytics) to deliver product initiatives from conception to launch. This involves conducting market research, gathering user feedback, analyzing data to identify innovation opportunities, and collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize features and timelines. You'll monitor key metrics, conduct A/B tests, and iterate on features to optimize user experiences. Staying informed on industry trends and competitor products is crucial. This hybrid role requires in-office presence Tuesdays and Thursdays in Los Angeles or San Francisco and focuses on enhancing Grindr's leading LGBTQ+ social networking platform.
Must have:
  • 8+ years Product Management experience (consumer-facing mobile app preferred)

Job Details

This is a hybrid role based in our Los Angeles or San Francisco office and will require you to be in office Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You will be responsible for driving product strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering exceptional user experiences.   • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features, establish project timelines, and ensure successful product delivery.
  • Monitor key product metrics and performance indicators, conduct A/B tests, and iterate on features to optimize user experiences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to drive product innovation.

What we'll love about you  

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a consumer-facing mobile app or web platform.
  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies, including market research, ideation, user testing, and agile development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform product decisions.
  • Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and making a positive impact in the LGBTQ+ community.

This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will also be eligible for equity, benefits, and a company bonus program.
