Job Description

As a Cost Control Engineer, you will oversee the cost and budget for a manufacturing facility, working closely with engineering and finance teams to align activities with the budget and provide accurate reporting. You will develop and enhance cost-effective manufacturing strategies, create and present financial reports, and establish communication between facility managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders. You will also facilitate the construction process, including time, material, quantity, price, and invoicing. The role involves managing and controlling costs within the manufacturing environment, ensuring financial accuracy and efficient operations.
Must have:
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field
  • Experience with SAP and Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with financial reporting for cost and budget management
  • Strong communication skills for team collaboration and reporting
  • Strong experience with construction and its related processes

As Cost Control Engineer you will be responsible for;

  • Overseeing cost and budget for manufacturing facility 
  • Work closely with both the engineering and finance teams to align on-floor activities with the budget and will be responsible for providing accurate reporting
  • Develop and enhance proactive, cost-effective manufacturing strategies based on best practices and proven techniques.
  • Create and present financial reports for funding and timeline requests
  • Create line of communication between facility managers, engineering teams and stake holders. 
  • Facilitate construction process (time, material, quantity, price, invoicing)

Qualifications;

  • 2-5 years of experience working in manufacturing, mechanical or production environment
  • Experience with SAP and Excel
  • Experience with financial reporting for cost and budget
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong experience with construction

 

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
