What We Need:

As our Analytics test team continues to grow, we are looking for a self-motivated, passionate Data Analytics Tester. The Data Test Analytics Tester is responsible for validating product raw data sources by creating and executing SQL sample queries based on ETL mapping artifacts. You will work closely with our data engineers and data scientists to ensure validity of internal and external data feeds.

This role involves testing in game telemetry events, creating test cases, and ensuring data integrity in the data warehouse and validating data pipelines. The Data Analytics Tester will check for errors and report them to our Data Engineering and Data Science teams.  

Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite) and Austin, TX 

What You’ll Do:

• Test telemetry events by creating and executing complex SQL queries on raw data.

• Identify areas of concern and recognize potential problems.

• Create test cases and sample queries for each telemetry event and event triggers.

• Execute data queries to answer pre-conceived game questions written by stakeholders.

• Validate the accuracy and integrity of data stored in the data warehouse.

• Create and update JIRA bugs.

What Will Make You A Great Fit:

• Technically proficient with PCs, game consoles, and mobile devices

• Jira (or experience with other issue reporting tools)

• Knowledge on RDBMS [Snowflake, Oracle, MYSQL] and SQL skills

• Experience with BI tool like Tableau/Qlik

• Game knowledge and desire to play and learn.

• A positive attitude with the ability to work in a team environment Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of education or relevant work experience. Additional Qualifications & Skills:

• Knowledge of ETL (Extraction, Transforming & Loading) reporting with database technologies.
