Dream Games is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team. The role involves collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing large datasets, closely collaborating with the game development team to optimize game performance. Responsibilities include developing data collection pipelines, large-scale analytics, and ML platforms, monitoring production applications, and building data lakes and warehouses on GCP using BigQuery, Airflow, Dataflow, and dbt Cloud.
Good To Have:
- Developing and designing data collection pipeline
- Monitoring and maintaining production streaming and batch applications
- Develop deep learning and reinforcement learning models
- Develop applications like NLP text moderation and cheat detection
- Building and deploying data lakes and data warehouses on GCP
Must Have:
- Hands-on experience in SQL and Python
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT data pipelines and data modeling
- Experience in data ingestion from various sources
- Experience building real-time data processing systems
- Experience in machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning
- Passion for games
- Appreciation for teamwork

Responsibilities
- Developing and designing our data collection pipeline, our large-scale analytics, and ML platform
- Monitoring and maintaining production streaming and batch applications
- Develop deep learning and reinforcement learning models to simulate human gameplay
- Develop applications like NLP text moderation and cheat detection, including data preparation, API integration, and ML model development
- Building and deploying data lakes and data warehouses on GCP using technologies BigQuery, Airflow, Dataflow, and dbt Cloud
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in SQL and PythonStrong understanding of ETL/ELT data pipelines and data modeling
- Experience in data ingestion from a variety of sources like DBs, APIs, streaming data
- Experience building systems to perform real-time data processing using Apache Beam, Google Pub/Sub, or Kafka
- Experience in machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning
- Passion and interest in games
- Appreciation and understanding of teamwork
