Job Summary

Flipkart is seeking a highly customer-focused and dynamic Senior Manager to lead Supply planning charter and drive impactful initiatives aimed at enhancing Delivery Speed, optimize supply chain cost and improve overall Customer Experience (CX). The ideal candidate will be a data-driven self-starter with a proven track record in Capacity planning (short/medium/long term),project management, capable of challenging existing processes and delivering results.

In this role, the person will collaborate with both internal and external partners to develop strategies, align with diverse stakeholders, and oversee a team of planners for various assets interfacing with Operations, Control Tower and IPC/Category. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to navigate details, and a keen instinct for identifying potential issues and opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Develop and align strategies to improve Overall supply planning process (including Capacity and Manpower at node level)and enable delivery speed while optimizing on cost, working with partner teams to execute plans.
  • Innovate and think creatively to identify and drive high-impact projects.
  • Analyze complex problems and large datasets, incorporating feedback from various stakeholders to inform decisions and actions.
  • Create project charters, design scorecards, provide project updates and newsletters, and monitor progress.
  • Manage communication with stakeholders across different business units regarding operational milestones, process changes, and escalations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple teams.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Over 8 years of experience in defining and implementing process improvements using data and metrics.
  • More than 5 years of experience working across both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong Analytical bent of mind and Storytelling/Presentation with numbers
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and R/Python if preferred.
  • At least 2 years of team management experience.
  • Proven experience in defining program requirements and utilizing data to drive improvements.
