Job Description

Thales is seeking a Digital Communication Officer to join its Engineering & Digital Directorate in Meudon, France. This role is central to enhancing engineering competitiveness and accelerating digital transformation. The successful candidate will lead innovative communication strategies, engage employees, and animate "Software Engineering" communities through various digital channels. Responsibilities include content identification, campaign management, event organization, and analytical reporting to drive continuous improvement and foster cross-functional collaboration.

The Engineering & Digital Directorate is at the heart of the Engineering function at Thales. Its mission is to increase the competitiveness of engineering within the Group and accelerate the digital transformation of Thales and its clients. Engineering covers all technical activities related to offers, products, and projects throughout their lifecycle.

Within this Directorate, the Engineering & Digital Communication team plays a key role in promoting and energizing all engineering communities.

In this context, your main missions will be:

  • Lead the deployment of innovative communication strategies and campaigns.
  • Actively participate in strengthening employee engagement and promoting the dissemination of best practices.
  • Animate and unite the "Software Engineering" communities within the Engineering function, through a variety of communication channels (newsletter, intranet, SharePoint, Viva Engage, mailing, etc.).
  • Identify relevant content and propose the creation and animation of new sub-communities around emerging themes.
  • Be responsible for the design, deployment, and monitoring of structured communication campaigns, including defining objectives, identifying target audiences, developing key messages, and planning the editorial calendar.
  • Organize and supervise various events, while ensuring the creation of attractive editorial and visual content, in English and French (posters, videos, promotional materials, etc.).

Particular attention will be paid to analyzing engagement levels and statistics of disseminated content.

  • Produce regular analytical reports to evaluate the effectiveness of actions taken and recommend areas for improvement.

This position requires cross-functional collaboration with many engineering stakeholders.
