Job Description

This Digital Design Engineer role involves semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in the electronic communications industry. Responsibilities include defining and realizing digital functions on IPs, subsystems, or IC levels, ensuring design compliance with specifications, quality, and reliability. The engineer will participate in problem-solving for digital and system domains, author design documentation, and contribute to various phases of the ASIC/SOC design process.
Must have:

  • Review product requirements and logic diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and stated requirements.
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering.

Job Description:

Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Define and realize Digital functions on IPs, subsystem or IC level based on required specifications. Responsible for design, verification and evaluation of those. Accountable for designing according to specifications, quality and reliability needs. Participation in problems solving for digital and system domain of the device. Author of the design-specific documentation for internal and external use. Contribute through various phases of the ASIC/SOC design process. Review product requirements and logic diagrams for device definition. Ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and stated requirements.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering (with related variants such as VLSI or Physics), foreign equivalent or related field.

Required skills:

Position requires knowledge gained via completion of a university-level course, internship or related occupation involving:

  • VLSI;
  • Algorithms and Architecture;
  • Physical Design;
  • Machine Learning;
  • CMOS Analog Integrated Circuits;
  • Object-oriented testbench in UVM;
  • Simulation in EDA playground;
  • RTL; and
  • Verilog.
