Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team, providing support to all games within our portfolio. You will be responsible for website build and maintenance, email marketing strategy and CRM management. Ecommerce experience is a plus!

This role is a fixed term contract, whilst our current Marketing Manager is on secondment in the Brand team. We’d ideally like some who can start by December 2025, and the contract will run until the end of August 2026. There is potential for conversion to permanent at the end of the contract.

What will you do?

  • Assist in the development of Kepler-wide marketing strategies and partnerships, including CRM, paid media, and new and emerging streaming/social platforms.
  • Build and maintain websites for our various partners. We currently build within Wix, so a working knowledge is ideal but we are also happy to teach you.
  • Develop and execute email marketing strategies for Kepler and our studios; we currently use Getresponse.
  • Building email templates
  • Scheduling – ensuring the right cadence for each audience
  • Utilise your knowledge of recent email best practices (including GDPR law).
  • CRM strategy and management, optimising our systems to interact in the back end.
  • Support the set up of ecommerce sites, integrating into our CRM for data capture.
  • Set up regular performance marketing testing of media campaigns including A/B and multivariant testing of content and appropriate avenues for placements.
  • Produce regular reports following marketing campaigns built with clear analysis and detailed reporting, plus be able to provide commentary on what worked and what to change for future campaigns.
  • Generate additional opportunities for visibility, growth, and success for the Kepler group through various partners, from strategic technological partnerships to media providers.
  • Attend and coordinate meetings with studios as required, acting as a conduit between development teams and departments/partners to make sure they always have the required materials to deliver on our marketing efforts.
  • Briefing and managing marketing partners for bespoke campaigns and physical products including merchandise, influencer kits and physical releases.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Strong experience in a Marketing Manager, CRM Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, or similar role
  • You don’t need to have worked in the games industry, but you do need to be passionate about it.
  • Keen interest in and knowledge of the latest marketing strategies and techniques.
  • Thorough understanding of the publisher structure and capacity to quickly adapt to each team’s needs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Values aligned!

What can you expect during the Interview Process:

For the Marketing Manager role we plan to have 3 stages of interview, below we have outlined what you can expect from, each:

Stage 1 – For the first stage you’ll be meeting with Dan Allman, Marketing Director, who will be the line manager for this position, and Lewis Matthews, our current Marketing Manager. Here the team will explore your skills and experience, whilst providing more information about the role.

Stage 2: You’ll have a technical interview with Dan and one of our Brand Managers, who you’ll work closely with if successful. We’ll share a short brief with you ahead of time to complete, which will then form the basis for interview.

Stage 3: The final stage will be a values interview (see values above). Our values inform how we work day to day, and are the behaviours we hold people to. In this interview you will meet with 2 people from the business, outside of your team, where we’ll explore values alignment.

Please be aware that there may be some slight changes to the interview teams and order of interviews depending on availability; we will give you full details with ample time ahead of each conversation.

We want to set you up for success and make our recruitment process as accessible as possible for you. In your application, feel free to let us know if you need anything to make your experience or environment more comfortable. We'll do our best to support you!

What we can offer you:

  • We believe your salary should reflect the work you deliver, the skills you bring and the value you add, therefore we offer a competitive salary, 20% discretionary bonus and potential for stock option plans.
  • 25 days holiday plus public holidays and end of year shutdown.
  • We trust our people and therefore give them the flexibility to manage their own working hours and office location to best suit their needs.
  • Personal training budget equivalent to £1,500 GBP per year, as well as access to conferences and formal training.
  • Up to 5 days paid volunteering leave per year and £100 to a charity of your choice on your birthday and as an end of year gift.
  • Medical insurance & healthcare cash plan. We also offer a range of personalised wellbeing support systems including our Employee Assistance Program, Spill, Mental Health First Aiders and more.
  • Life insurance at 4x your salary.
  • Income replacement insurance.
  • Pension, 4% matched contribution
