Job Description

Onward Search is seeking a Digital Asset Manager for a 12-month hybrid contract role in Glendale, California. This position requires 2 days onsite and 3 days remote. The role focuses on photography retouching, asset management, and consistent digital content publication. Key responsibilities include preparing photography for digital platforms, managing AEM sites, handling requests, collaborating with teams, and developing metadata schemas. The ideal candidate will combine technical proficiency, creativity, and collaboration to shape digital content management.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in digital librarianship or product management is preferred
  • Adobe product certifications, particularly in AEM Assets, are a plus
  • Familiarity with Figma is advantageous
Must Have:
  • Enhance and prepare photography for digital platforms, ensuring top-notch quality
  • Construct and maintain site pages, manage uploads, and oversee metadata and taxonomy
  • Efficiently triage and route incoming requests and tickets
  • Engage in critiques and team meetings to foster a collaborative environment
  • Create and implement metadata schemas and authoring flows within AEM
  • Oversee the management and publication of digital assets for cross-functional team use
  • Expertise in photography retouching and processing
  • Proficient in asset management and DAM taxonomy/metadata
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Adobe tools, including AEM and Photoshop
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required

Digital Asset Manager Responsibilities:

  • Photography Retouching & Processing: Enhance and prepare photography for digital platforms, ensuring top-notch quality.
