Job Description

This role involves the fabrication and wiring of control panels according to job specifications. Key responsibilities include reading electrical schematics, fabricating equipment from blueprints, and performing panel, enclosure, rack, and skid terminations. The technician is expected to maintain a clean room environment, manage company tools, and adhere to safety standards, demonstrating knowledge of ATEX, UL, and CUL.
Must have:
  • Read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Fabricate equipment from blueprints per our department flow process.
  • Basic knowledge of panel / enclosure wiring and mechanical assembly.
  • Complete rack and skid terminations.
  • Knowledge of ATEX, UL and CUL.

Job Details

Functional Job Duties:

  • Read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Fabricate equipment from blueprints per our department flow process.
  • Basic knowledge of panel / enclosure wiring and mechanical assembly.
  • Complete rack and skid terminations.
  • Eliminate waste of materials when possible.
  • Respect and care for company tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Clean Room environment to be maintained throughout shift.
  • Receive and follow instruction from shift lead or supervisor.
  • Knowledge of ATEX, UL and CUL

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in related field with 7+ years total preferred.

Mental Requirements:

  • Must possess strong leadership, analytical thinking, effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with persons inside and outside of the company. Must have the ability to perform mathematical calculations related to job requirements. Must be able to work under stress. Must be able to handle multiple priorities. Must be able to process paperwork effectively.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to go up and down stairs. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing, and apply appropriate safety equipment when required. Must be able to work overtime as required. Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties.
