Job Description

This role is for an Electronic Product Support Engineer - Series Product Manager at Thales's Vendôme site, a key location for avionics production. You will join a 15-person production support team, managing a product portfolio throughout its series life. Key responsibilities include piloting industrial performance (FPY, non-conformities, product/process evolution, customer quality) and ensuring operational maintenance of products. You will also participate in process improvement projects and collaborate with various site and Business Line functions, including Production, Design Authority, Quality, Supplier Performance, Laboratories, Supply Chain, and Purchasing.
Must have:
  • Manage industrial performance of product portfolio

Your daily life

Our Vendôme site welcomes you to the heart of the Loire Valley and its castles. A reference for avionics production, it is easily accessible by TGV from Paris and Tours.

As part of a replacement following internal mobility, we are looking for an Electronic Product Support Engineer - Series Product Manager - M/F for our industrial site.

Position based in Vendôme (41).

You will join the production support team of the Vendôme Electronic Instrument APRU (composed of about 15 people) and your mission will be to manage a product portfolio throughout its series life (Series Product Manager).

For this, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the industrial performance of your product portfolio (FPY, Non-conformities, Product and process evolution, Customer quality, etc.);
  • Ensuring the operational maintenance of the products under your responsibility.
  • Participating in projects for improving and optimizing processes within your scope or cross-functional processes.

You will collaborate with the various functions of the Vendôme site and the Business Line (Production Activities, Design Authority, Quality, Supplier Performance, Expertise Laboratories, Supply Chain, Purchasing, etc.).

Your profile

Holder of an engineering degree with a specialization in electronics or equivalent training, you:

  • have experience in transversal activities/project management?
  • know the industrial electronic technical domains and manufacturing technologies to anticipate risks?
  • have the ability to evolve in a complex technical and industrial environment (line, technical direction, purchasing, supplier performance management, quality, customers, suppliers)?
  • master all aspects related to project management (planning, budget)?
  • demonstrate critical analysis with a desire for improvement and problem-solving?
