The role is for a customer-focused marketing professional with strong technical and business acumen responsible for creating and executing strategies to drive customer engagements in the Industrial, IoT, and Automotive segments to foster business growth across NXP's portfolio. Responsibilities include driving marketing activities and business development for EMEA markets via distributors and sales teams, coordinating marketing infrastructure, and executing Go-to-Market strategies. The role involves securing distributor mindshare, maintaining visibility with NXP sales teams, and reviewing performance at distribution branches. The candidate will also engage with NXP sales, distributors, and partners to create strategic customer plans and system solution Go-to-Market strategies, build relationships with priority branches, and act as a go-to person for NXP and distributor sales engineers. Additional duties include initiating product training, identifying new supply chain players and IDHs in strategic segments, and working semi-autonomously in the region.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate for the role is a customer-focused, passionate marketing professional with strong technical and business acumen. The Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) will be responsible to create and execute effective strategies to drive close engagements with focus customers in the Industrial, IoT and Automotive segments and drive business growth across NXPs broad portfolio into the mass market. The RMM will closely collaborate with the NXP Sales and Application Engineering teams, distributors and the product segment managers to drive new business identification, project engagements, strong relationships with customers and partners as well as training and support towards closing new design opportunities.  Key elements of the role include, but are not limited, to the following.

  • Responsible for driving marketing activities & business development for EMEA industrial, IoT, medical,  automotive and computing markets via our franchised distributors and our Sales team
  • Coordinate the implementation of the marketing infrastructure and tools to boost the promotion on the Mass Market customer base targeting the customer expansion and the market share pervasiveness.
  • Coordinate and execute an effective Mass Market distribution Go-to-Market strategy aligned with Product Lines, companion Business Lines for cross-selling, and the NXP distribution sales team
  • Secure mindshare and commitment from Distributors and parts for executing our Go-to-market strategy
  • Maintain high visibility with NXP distribution sales and distribution partners at training events, corporate reviews, and NXP Connects events
  • Regularly challenge and review performance at targeted priority distribution branches to maintain mindshare and drive Point-of-Sale (POS) revenue, Point-of-Account (POA) revenue, attach rate, customer count, design registration and design win results
  • Engage with NXP Sales, Distributors and Partners to create and execute strategic customer plans
  • Coordinate with Product Lines and sales team to create and execute an effective system solution GtM strategy aligned with companion cross-sell Business Lines
  • Build up close relationships with priority branches throughout EMEA region for lead customer engagement and distributor branches business review
  • Be recognized go-to-person supporting our NXP and distributors’ sales and Field Application Engineers on our analog portfolio
  • Initiate and support product training request and customer calls
  • Identify and engage with disruptive supply chain new players/IDH in the strategic focused vertical markets.
  • Identify and engage with disruptive new players in the strategically focused segments
  • Ability to be semi-autonomous to work independently in the region

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise on analog semiconductors, (technical) marketing, positioning, customer-focus, content creation and execution
  • Industry experience in Industrial, IoT, automotive or mobile with technical knowledge on semiconductors, preferably with analog, power, and mixed signal technology and products
  • Customer focused mind-set
  • Proven analytical skillset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong desire to keep learning, natural curiosity with broad interest and knowledge in the business
  • Building trusted relationships
  • Experience driving semiconductor business through distribution channels.
  • Experience interfacing with field sales and closing design wins
  • BSEE required; MSEE and MBA desire
