At Databricks, we empower organizations with the power of data and AI. As an Account Executive, you’ll drive growth across high-potential, digital-first companies in GCR—spanning industries like tech, fintech, retail, healthcare, and manufacturing.
You’ll work with fast-growing businesses that are scaling their data and AI strategies, selling to both technical and business stakeholders, and closing complex, high-impact deals.
The impact you will have:
- Direct influence on the data strategy of the most engineering-centric companies today
- Communicate account strategy to Senior Leadership on a regular basis
- Allocate resources to break into new accounts and grow existing accounts
- Meet with C-Level Executives to Practitioner level to understand how Databricks can improve business outcomes
- Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
- Use a creative, fail-fast approach to selling and creating value for customers
- Build a plan for success internally and externally with your accounts
What we look for:
- Passion for selling a highly technical product in the cloud
- Experience with Open Source Technologies and build vs buy decision-making
- Strong experience with Value Selling Methodologies
- A creative salesperson with a well-defined prospecting motion
- Sales experience within big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales
- Track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Success closing new accounts while working on existing accounts
- German language and business English required
