Job Description
The Senior Account Manager/Executive (AE) will work with the T5N leadership team to drive/develop and implement a comprehensive territory sales plan and build relationships with all key buying influencers covering the full portfolio of products and services for Government and Public Safety.
The AE will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Act as a trusted advisor to influence customer’s technology platform decisions and develop preference and loyalty for the company.
- Proactively develop opportunities encompassing a wide range of products and services.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within and outside of public safety including Sheriff, Fire Chief, Police Chief, CIO/CTO, Administrator/Manager and other officials in order to understand and influence technology and funding priorities.
- Develop strategies to position long term opportunities for the company.
- Develop procurement vehicles for multiple solutions to be leveraged increasing the company's presence across an entire customer account.
Specific Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience
- OR 8+ years of sales/public safety experience
- Technology sales experience and an understanding of communications, video and software solutions
- Experience selling solutions into government organizations preferred
- Experience utilizing strategic account management practices and tools
- Willingness and ability to be a strong self-starter and hunt to identify/create sales opportunities
- Ability to quickly learn new key characteristics of products/solutions and communicate the value of those solutions to customers
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key customer executives
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices a plus
- Ability to travel 25-50% to customers
Preferred candidates will reside in Minnesota.
Target Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 USD
