Job Description

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their Commercial Market Support team in Antofagasta, Chile. This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of radio communication systems, ensuring customer safety and timely responses. The technician will also install telecommunications equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various radio equipment, and address detected failures. The position requires a strong commitment to safety and self-care.

Good To Have:

Knowledge in Telecommunications, Astro 25 System.
Knowledge in maintenance and telecommunications networks.
Experience in mining.

Must Have:

Perform maintenance, repairs, and installation of radio communication systems.
Ensure customer safety and timely responses.
Possess a high commitment to safety and permanent self-care.
Install telecommunications equipment respecting company standards and project deadlines.
Understand and manage topics related to different telecommunication systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for portable, mobile, base equipment, and repetition sites.
Execute maintenance tasks for detected failures.
Higher technical studies in Electronics, Electricity, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field.
2 years of relevant experience in site environments.
Class B driving license.
Availability to work 5X2 and 7X7 shifts.

Perform maintenance, repairs, and installation of the indicated radio communication systems, providing security to the client, responding in a timely manner and according to the established times and deadlines.
Possess a high commitment to safety and permanent self-care.
Install telecommunications equipment, respecting all quality safety standards and norms established by the company, and within the deadlines established by the project and/or operation.
Familiarize oneself with and manage topics related to different telecommunication systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for portable, mobile, base equipment, and different repetition, dispatch, or master sites according to the geographical area where it is operational. Execute maintenance tasks for detected failures.

Basic Requirements

Higher technical studies in Electronics, Electricity, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related career.
2 years of relevant experience in site environments.
Class B driving license.
Availability to work 5X2 and 7X7 shifts.
Desirable knowledge in Telecommunications, Astro 25 System, Knowledge in maintenance and telecommunications networks. Desirable experience in mining.
