NXP is seeking a Foundry Module Equipment Engineer for the upcoming VSMC joint venture. This role involves sustaining and troubleshooting equipment, managing tool installation and ramp-up, and enhancing equipment efficiency. The engineer will also plan and execute analysis projects, communicate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to defect detection. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years of experience with Fab equipment, along with mechanical and semiconductor process knowledge.
Must have:

  • Basic mechanical related knowledge
  • Semiconductor processes knowledge
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good communication ability

Job Details

We are looking for Foundry Module Equipment Engineer role in preparation for the formation of the joint venture of NXP and VIS, known as VSMC.

Job Duties:

  • Equipment sustain and troubleshoot issues.
  • Tool installation and ramp up
  • Improve and enhance the efficiency and productivity of equipment
  • Warm up and trouble solve with high tech. equipment.
  • Improve and enhance the efficiency of equipment.
  • Plan and execute the analysis or defect detection projects.
  • Communicate with cross function engineers or vendors
  • Plan and execute the analysis or defect detection projects.

Job Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Automation Engineering related fields.
  • 3+ Year's Experienced with Fab equipment
  • Fab 12" knowledge is preferred
  • Having experience with equipment maintenance or improvement.
  • Have basic mechanical related knowledge and semiconductor processes knowledge.
  • Good problem solving skills, communication ability
