Job Description

As a Car OEM team leader, you will drive and support the team to work with cross-functional teams to achieve key platform design wins and create business for focused applications. You will be responsible for the Car OEM growth strategy and account engagement plan, building relationships with local ecosystem players, and influencing their roadmaps to maximize NXP business opportunities. This role involves exploring partnerships, researching industry trends, providing customer inputs to Business Lines (BLs) to shape solution roadmaps, and leading business proposal validation with accurate revenue and ROI forecasts. You will also coordinate regional and BU marketing activities to support business growth.
Must have:
  • Drive and support Car OEM team for platform design wins and business creation.
  • Responsible for Car OEM growth strategy and account engagement.
  • Build relationships with local ecosystem players (Car OEMs, Carriers, Silicon influencers).
  • Influence roadmaps to leverage connections, partnerships, and innovations.
  • Explore potential partnerships for market development.
  • Feed OEM customer inputs to BLs to shape solution roadmaps.
  • Lead business proposal validation and develop execute plans with revenue/ROI forecast.
  • Drive and coordinate regional and BU marketing activities.
  • Bachelor or above Degree in Electrical Engineering or related.
  • 10-15 years selling experience in Semiconductor/Automotive industry.
  • At least 8 years in a sales management position.
  • Proven track record in achieving Revenue and Design Win targets.
  • Proven ability to sell at C-level and Technical management level.
  • Proven track record of selling solutions.
  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen, credibility, and presence.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.

Job Details

Responsibility:

  • As Car OEM team leader, drive and support Car OEM team to work cross functional teams to drive key platform design win and create business of focused applications.
  • Responsible for Car OEM growth strategy and account engagement plan
  • Builds relationships with local ecosystem players (Car OEMs, Carriers, Silicon influencers etc.) and influences their roadmap to leverage and orchestrate connections, partnerships and innovations within the ecosystem that maximize NXP business creation opportunities.
  • Explores potential partnerships to accelerate market development.
  • Researches industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Feeds OEM customer inputs to BLs to shape their solution roadmaps. Work with BL R&D teams to shape solution architecture and roadmap.
  • Lead the business proposal validation, develops detailed execute plans to address opportunities for NXP including an accurate and trackable forecast on revenue and ROI.
  • Drive and coordinate the regional and BU marketing activities with Car OEM to support business growth target.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or above Degree in Electrical Engineering or related.
  • 10~15 years selling experience within the Semiconductor/Automotive industry with at least 8 years in a sales management position.
  • Proven track record in achieving Revenue and Design Win target by selling high value applications to industry leading Car OEMs.
  • Proven ability at selling at C level as well as Technical management level.
  • Proven track record of selling solutions.
  • Experience with Automotive System Engineering would be plus.
  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen, credibility and presence to enable effective relationship building, influencing and instilling confidence at a senior level.
  • Good communication skills, willing to work with colleagues and customers in field.
  • Fluent both in Mandarin & English.
