As an AI/ML ASIC Design and Implementation Automation Intern in our Advanced Chip Engineering (ACE) organization, you will learn in a dynamic environment where we explore and innovate on methodology, flows, and tools to improve efficiency and quality of results for ASIC, SoC, and IP. You'll be working and connecting with automation experts as well as academia to explore state-of-the-art Computer-Aided Design (CAD) techniques as part of VLSI CAD Software development.
Must have:
  • Must be currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar.
Good to have:
  • Data structures, algorithms (Python, C++)
  • SW CI/CD process
  • Experience in Unix/Linux
  • GenAI, AI/ML Techniques for automation

Job Details

As an "AI/ML ASIC Design and Implementation Automation Intern" in our Advanced Chip Engineering (ACE) organization, you will learn in a dynamic environment where we explore and innovate on methodology, flows, and tools to improve efficiency and quality of results (power, performance, area, and quality) for ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuits), SoC (System on Chip), and IP (Intellectual Property). You'll be working and connecting with automation experts as well as academia to explore state-of-the-art Computer-Aided Design (CAD) techniques as part of VLSI CAD Software development.

Desirable skills:

  • Data structures, algorithms (Python, C++)
  • SW CI/CD process
  • Experience in Unix/Linux
  • GenAI, AI/ML Techniques for automation

Qualifications:

Must be currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar. If you are graduating prior to July 2026, please apply for Graduate Hire or Entry Level roles.

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.

Company benefits include health. dental, and vision insurance. 401(k), and paid leave. Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is:

$62,400 to $104,200 annually
