Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our post-go-live ERP system optimization and enhancement initiatives on a fixed term contract. This critical role will focus on maximising the value of our recently implemented ERP system through continuous improvement, user adoption strategies, and strategic system enhancements, and project manage lead future phases. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business operations and technology, ensuring our ERP investment delivers measurable business outcomes.

  • Coordinate with technical teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Manage rollout of new modules, features, and integrations.
  • Track decisions, project plans, and outcomes from the Governance Committee.
  • Partner with department heads and end-users to identify pain points.
  • Establish feedback loops to capture user requirements and system performance issues.
  • Maintain momentum through stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead process standardization initiatives across business units.
  • Coordinate with process owners to implement best practices.
  • Eliminate inefficiencies in business processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audit standards.
  • Manage relationships with ERP vendors, system integrators, and third-party consultants.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver project objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage budgets for ongoing system support.
  • Oversee vendor performance and service level agreements.

What you’ll do:

The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business operations and technology, ensuring our ERP investment delivers measurable business outcomes.

System Optimization & Enhancements:

  • Lead post-implementation optimization projects to improve system performance, user experience, and business process efficiency
  • Identify and prioritize system enhancement opportunities based on business needs and ROI analysis
  • Coordinate with technical teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
  • Manage rollout of new modules, features, and integrations to expand system capabilities
  • Track decisions, project plans and outcomes from the Governance Committee

Stakeholder Management & User Adoption:

  • Partner with department heads and end-users to identify pain points and improvement opportunities
  • Establish feedback loops to capture user requirements and system performance issues continuously
  • Maintain momentum through stakeholder engagement, ensuring everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities and shares project statuses

Business Process Improvements:

  • Lead process standardization initiatives across business units
  • Coordinate with process owners to implement best practices and eliminate inefficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audit standards

Vendor & Resource Management:

  • Manage relationships with ERP vendors, system integrators, and third-party consultants
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver project objectives
  • Negotiate contracts and manage budgets for ongoing system support and enhancements
  • Oversee vendor performance and service level agreements

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience with enterprise software implementations
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Workday)
  • Demonstrated experience in post-implementation support and system optimisation
  • Strong understanding of ERP architecture, modules, and integration capabilities
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Knowledge of data migration, system integration, and business intelligence concepts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with all organisational levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of finance, Talent, operations, and supply chain processes
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks and best practices
