eBay is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Regional Facilities Operations Manager to join the Enterprise Management Resources – Global Site & Security Resources team. Based at our San Jose, CA headquarters with frequent travel, this role reports to the Global Head of Facility Operations. The manager will oversee US West region offices, ensuring high-quality facilities services and operational excellence. Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day operations, managing projects, fostering a proactive service culture, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support eBay’s workplace needs.
Must have:
  • Supervise day-to-day facilities operations, including hard and soft services
  • Manage small- to medium-scale facilities projects within scope and budget
  • Foster a proactive service culture, ensuring timely resolution of workplace issues
  • Regularly visit regional offices to audit performance and ensure service quality
  • Develop, manage, and report on expense and capital budgets with Finance
  • Act as a primary liaison with Security, HR, IT, Procurement, Real Estate, Space Planning, Design & Construction, EH&S, Legal, and Brand teams
  • Partner with business unit leaders and third-party vendors for efficient and safe workplace operations
  • Identify and drive initiatives to improve service delivery, reduce costs, and optimize performance
  • Develop and implement standardized facilities management practices and tools
  • 7+ years of facilities management experience
  • 5+ years of people management experience (direct or indirect)
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently across regional office sites

  • BA/BS degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Design, or Business Administration
  • Professional certifications: CFM, FMA, RPA, LEED, PMP

About The Team And The Role

eBay is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Regional Facilities Operations Manager to join the Enterprise Management Resources – Global Site & Security Resources team! Based at our headquarters with frequent travel across the region, this role reports directly to the Global Head of Facility Operations. The Regional Facilities Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising offices across the US West region, ensuring high-quality facilities services and operational excellence. This individual will play a key role in leading teams, managing vendors, and encouraging collaboration with both internal collaborators and external partners to support eBay’s workplace needs.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Supervise day-to-day facilities operations, including both hard and soft services (e.g., maintenance, janitorial, events, catering, etc.).
  • Manage small- to medium-scale facilities projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Foster a proactive service culture, ensuring timely and effective resolution of Workplace maintenance and service issues.
  • Regularly visit regional offices to audit performance and ensure consistency in service quality.
  • Develop, manage, and report on both expense and capital budgets, in close collaboration with Finance.
  • Act as a primary liaison with a variety of stakeholders including Security, HR, IT, Procurement, Real Estate, Space Planning, Design & Construction, EH&S, Legal, and Brand teams.
  • Partner with business unit leaders and third-party vendors to ensure efficient and safe workplace operations.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to improve service delivery, reduce costs, and optimize operational performance.
  • Develop and implement standardized facilities management practices and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency across all regional locations.

What You Will Bring

  • BA/BS degree preferred in Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Design, or Business Administration.
  • 7+ years of facilities management experience, ideally in a technology company setting.
  • 5+ years of people management experience (direct or indirect), with demonstrated leadership in dynamic office environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently across regional office sites.
  • Professional certifications preferred: CFM, FMA, RPA, LEED, PMP.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Proven track record to influence without authority and collaborate across diverse functional groups.
  • Demonstrated competence in developing and coordinating facilities budgets with financial experience.
  • Proven success managing teams across multiple locations.
  • Trusted and persuasive communicator who can build positive relationships with senior leaders, team members, and external vendors.
  • Experience coordinating facilities in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Proactive and driven to achieve goals with a strong sense of responsibility and dedication.
  • Skilled in vendor management with a focus on performance and customer satisfaction.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$130,800 - $174,600

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
