We’re hiring a Service Coordinator for a hybrid opportunity in Stafford, TX with a growing medical device and healthcare solutions provider. This is a 6-month contract role.
You’ll join the Service Operations team to support field technicians and logistics, ensuring the proper processing of returned or damaged materials, accurate documentation, and smooth operational workflows. This company prides itself on innovation, collaboration, and employee development.
Service Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Field Technicians to ensure unused/damaged materials are returned with all required paperwork.
- Maintain a return log for STOs and RMAs; update weekly with Logistics to ensure timely processing.
- Resolve inventory-related transaction errors in SAP and CRM.
- Assist with preliminary reviews and monthly reconciliations of field-based storage locations; support audit activities.
- Support invoicing activities related to Field Work Orders (FWOs).
- Process products in transit to/from warehouses in SAP and CRM.
- Collect and record shipping information from Field Technicians; systematically receive products on their behalf.
- Open all Preventive Maintenance FWOs and close zero-dollar billing FWOs.
- Provide backup coverage for the Service Coordinator during high demand, vacations, sick days, and other PTO.
- Support Service Operations with ad hoc projects as needed.
Service Coordinator Qualifications:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a service-oriented business using a field service CRM (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceMax, or similar).
- SAP proficiency, especially in Logistics, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Invoicing modules.
- Understanding of field-based operations; prior roles as Service Coordinator or Project Coordinator preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable communicating online, by phone, and in person; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365: Outlook, Teams, Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
- Ability to access and navigate web-based reports (SAP Fiori, BI, HANA).
- Associate’s degree or higher (preferred).
