Job Summary
Job Description
The Financial Analyst will forecast and analyze various operating expenses for Apple offices and data centers. They will build and maintain reporting to provide executive leadership with insights into cost trends, leasing, and acquisitions. The role involves in-depth analysis of cost drivers, partnering with the business to understand project pipelines, and participating in meetings to share insights. They will also partner with Global Business Solutions and Lease Accounting. They will support ad hoc analytical projects and contribute to the annual planning process.

Job Details
Forecast and analyze various OPEX expenses for Apple offices and data centers Build and maintain a suite of reporting to provide executive leadership with new insights as cost trends, leasing and acquisition activity changes Provide in-depth analysis of key cost drivers along with commentary on forecast flux, actuals, and plan Partner with the business to understand the pipeline of projects and impact to the P&L and forecast Participate in regular meetings with Places leadership to share insights and evaluate trends compared to historical and forecast Partner with Global Business Solutions in many areas including property tax analysis, accruals, depreciation, asset write offs, impairments etc. Partner with Lease Accounting to determine lease amortization, variable rent, and associated P&L impact of lease renewals and extensions Support Apple corporate teams in ad hoc analytical projects, including process and systems improvements Contribute to our annual planning process through rigorous analysis and presentations supporting Apple’s ongoing Places strategy
