We are looking for a Financial Controller to expand our team within Finance Department and bring new ideas and expertise, and help to grow the business.
Superpowers you have:
- 2+ years related experience in financial planning, financial analysis, and budgetary controls;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Positive attitude towards regular recurring and typical tasks;
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field;
- Excellent knowledge of the revenue accrual process;
- Excellent knowledge of Excel;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Keen attention to detail; ability to deliver high-quality, timely, and accurate work results;
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to multitask and handle a variety of projects;
- Working knowledge of ERP systems is a plus;
- Budgetary control experience;
- Fluent verbal and written English is an advantage.

- Relevant certifications, e.g. CFC, ACCA, etc.
Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:
- Actively participate in the monthly revenue accrual/recognition process of the Group across multiple geographies;
- Support the month- and year-end closing process;
- Interaction with project managers/producers on revenue recognition issues;
- Interaction with Process Centre team on ERP improvements;
- Estimate and review profitability margins of projects of the Group;
- Describe and publish relevant policies and actively participate in policy improvement;
- Control budgets of service lines and departments and report cases with no budget or overspending;
- Perform regular updates and report tracking, and headcount information;
- Keep relevant files updated on time;
- Participate in tactical and strategic meetings / brainstorming sessions / presentations;
- Additional controller duties as necessary.
