Fitout Specialist

Client: One of the Top Pan India Commercial Real Estate Developers based in Bangalore.

Job Purpose: This position is for a skilled Interior Fit Out Specialist who possesses a strong background in interior

design, project management, and construction, with a focus on delivering high-quality interior fit-out projects.

They will collaborate with clients, architects, and construction teams to ensure that interior spaces meet design

specifications, functional requirements, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage interior fit-out projects from conception to completion.

• Timely delivery of Refurbishment & Fit out projects as per project plans, timelines, and budgets.

• Work closely with interior designers to interpret design concepts and translate them into feasible

construction plans.

• Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction phase.

• Provide input on materials, finishes, and design elements to ensure project success. To track

compliance obligations at project level.

• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.

• Co-ordinate between projects teams and various audit teams for smooth flow of audit.

• Co-ordinate between projects teams and banking agencies, as and when required.

• To study, compare and put up the summary on the building design and specifications.

• Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.

• Provide updates on project progress and address any client concerns or requests.

• Generation of various MIS reports. Provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.

• Monitor project budgets and expenses. Reconciliation of budget and costs incurred in SAP.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

• Checking of claims, bills and payments in line with the Contracts.

• Purchase request / Purchase Order collation for Capex projects.

• Follow up of projects payments and keeping a track of the same.

• Co-ordination with Finance, Accounts, Procurement and SEZ teams as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

• Familiarity with sustainable design principles.

• Effective verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in People Management both direct and across matrix

internal organization – Should be effective in delivering outcomes through others

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

• Knowledge of the latest trends and innovations in interior design and construction.

• Strong project development and project management experience in new build and fit out of

commercial office premises with robust understanding of project financing and cashflow.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Conversant with the international terms and conditions of contracts (FIDIC etc.); National Building

Code of India (relevant segments), Local building regulations, Fire Department regulations for High

rise buildings, Compliance to Statutory norms; and Green building norms, ISO and OSHAS standards
