Job Description

The FP&A Analyst will be instrumental in building a new finance team and shaping the company's growth trajectory. The analyst will spearhead the annual budget, deliver insightful month-end analysis, and partner internationally on forecasting. This role requires strong Excel skills and proactive problem-solving abilities to provide critical financial insights through impactful reporting and ad-hoc projects, directly influencing strategic decisions. The analyst will lead the annual budgeting process, drive month-end financial reporting and analysis, and conduct in-depth ad-hoc analysis.
Must have:
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Proactive problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Good to have:
  • An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc) or working towards desirable, but not essential
  • One or two years PQE advantageous, but not essential

About the Role

Thrive in a fast-paced, expanding studio environment as an FP&A Analyst, where you'll be instrumental in building a new finance team and shaping our growth trajectory. You'll spearhead the annual budget, deliver insightful month-end analysis, and partner internationally on forecasting. Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating closely with key teams and stakeholders to develop comprehensive and accurate financial plans. 
  • Drive the month-end financial reporting and analysis, providing insightful variance explanations against budget to inform decision-making. 
  • Partner with international office contacts to facilitate cost forecasting and ongoing budget reviews, ensuring global alignment and accuracy. 
  • Conduct in-depth ad-hoc analysis, synthesising complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for business improvement. 
  • Develop and maintain user-friendly data visualisations (charts, graphs, dashboards) and presentations to enhance data accessibility and understanding across the organisation
  • Contribute to the successful onboarding and rollout of new FP&A software, supporting the evolution of our financial tools and processes. 


Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including the ability to work confidently with complex formulas and understand and develop robust financial models  
  • Demonstrated proactive problem-solving capabilities with a proven ability to quickly learn and independently manage tasks and projects. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and confidently interact across diverse teams and present financial insights to senior stakeholders. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, visually appealing financial outputs, including dashboards, graphs, and presentations. 
  • An accounting qualification (ACA,ACCA,CIMA etc) or working towards desirable, but not essential
  • One or two years PQE advantageous, but not essential
