Freelance Senior 2D Artist (Graphical Novels)

Our Game and VR Studio is part of N-iX, a trusted Ukraine-based software development company. We specialize in full-cycle game development with Unity and Unreal Engine and offer art production as a service.

We seek a talented 2D Character Artist to join our team and create outstanding characters and illustrations for visual novels for freelance cooperation.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality character art, illustrations, and assets for visual novel games
• Precise work in a given style and in accordance with references provided by the client
• Work closely with the art team under the defined art direction 
• Produce work with minimal supervision, in an efficient and timely manner to maintain production schedules

Requirements:

• 2-4+ years of industry experience
• Excellent understanding of Photoshop
• Ability to create highly polished game assets and marketing materials
• Strong knowledge of color theory, composition, perspective, and lighting
• Good communication skills, ability to interact with team members of different disciplines
• Ability to take direction and accept critical review of your work
• Excellent portfolio with characters  and illustration  art
