Job Description

Zynga is seeking a talented Game Designer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of games played by millions daily. You'll collaborate with designers, UX specialists, engineers, and product managers to implement new features, create engaging in-game events, and refine game balance based on player feedback. Your responsibilities will include building clear design documentation, ensuring fun and engaging gameplay, and leveraging data to improve game design.

Must have:

2-4 years mobile game design experience
Experience with live operations
Building in-game content for specific audiences
Understanding of game economy balance and tuning
Clear and concise documentation skills
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Good to have:

Knowledge and level design experience on Puzzle games
Solid knowledge of free-to-play games and the brain puzzle genre

Zynga is looking for Game Designer to join the team. You will be working on games that will be played by millions of players every single day.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Game Designers and cross-functionally with UX, engineering, and product management on the design and implementation of new game features. Build and lead the implementation of fun, engaging in-game events and other game content.
Build clear and complete game design documentation for game content and features. Assess and apply qualitative and quantitative feedback to improve game design and balance.

Requirements:

2-4 year experience in mobile game design, including exposure on a game in live ops
Experience building in-game content designed to appeal to a specific audience
Deep understanding of basic economy balance and tuning
Experience writing clear and concise specs, user flows, and feature documentation
Knowledge and Level design experience on Puzzle games is a Plus”
Solid knowledge of free-to-play games in general, and the brain puzzle genre specifically
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
