We are looking for a Game Designer for the Cradle of Maya project, who will become the architect of features and systems, responsible for creating and developing key mechanics. In this role, you will lead the full cycle of feature development – from idea and design to metric analysis and improvements. The main task of the position is to ensure that the game remains cohesive and engaging for players, and that the implemented solutions have a significant impact on product metrics and the long-term development of the project.
What tasks you will solve:
- Develop and implement new gameplay systems and features.
- Analyze and improve existing mechanics: refactor and refine systems to enhance the quality of the gaming experience and product metrics.
- Lead the full feature development cycle: from idea to implementation with results analysis and development of improvements.
- Participate in shaping the product plan and project development strategy together with the team.
- Work in a feature ownership format: coordinate tasks between departments, ensure results at all stages.
- Have the opportunity to develop into a Sub-Lead Game Designer with an expanded area of responsibility.
What is important to us:
- Experience in a System Game Designer position for 3+ years.
- Full cycle Feature ownership: from idea to implementation with results analysis and development of improvements.
- Experience in creating large features with examples where features actually improved metrics.
- Experience in casual projects or midcore projects (experience in match3 will be an advantage).
- Work with analytics: ability to build hypotheses, test them, argue with numbers.
- Communication and teamwork: experience interacting with art/narrative/producers.
