Your daily life
Located 20 minutes from the Paris-Saclay technology hub, the site is one of the largest centers of excellence for surface radars. We contribute to developing, designing, integrating, and testing air surveillance radars dedicated to target detection and identification.
Within the SRA Business Line, the Radar Embedded Processing competence center is responsible for designing and delivering digital hardware and software solutions for air surveillance or multi-function radars. It is composed of 300 employees and has established partnerships with companies in France and abroad.
The performance of these radars relies on these complex and demanding digital systems, which require excellent mastery of several IT and electronics fields: signal processing, real-time software, artificial intelligence, digital hardware, FPGA, cybersecurity...
Our activities cover the entire system cycle:
- Digital system architecture studies: network flows, processing and filtering capacity, monitoring and control.
- Design of specific cards for very high-speed signal processing (several terabytes / second).
- Development of real-time software on high-performance parallel machines based on DSP, X86, and GPU processors.
- Configuration and securing of operating systems and internal flows.
- Integration and qualification of the radar's digital system, before integration into the complete radar.
As Head of Engineering Delivery, you will lead a team of about ten Work Package Managers, each responsible for the development of the digital part of radar projects for clients or within a product axis.
As HoED, you will be a member of the Competence Center's CODIR.
Upon your arrival, your missions will be to:
- Deploy appropriate and adapted practices and tools (for EDM and WPM) to achieve the required maturity according to project/product delivery challenges.
- Work with WPMs to help them gain efficiency and identify gaps and associated actions to support continuous delivery improvement.
- Through your seniority, assist WPMs in their projects and represent the CC in project reviews.
- Manage, develop people/skills, and assign them to products/projects.
- Review "engineering deliverability" for offers (engineering strategy and plan, schedule, solution maturity, risk reduction and mitigation, acceptance strategy, certification, resources, E2 strategy, estimations, contingencies).
- Contribute to peer evaluation of offers, products, and projects to reduce engineering risks and increase confidence.
- Develop reporting on your scope regarding the maturity/risks of different projects to inform the CODIR REP on the support needed to improve the performance of engineering teams.
You will collaborate with:
- All REP teams,
- The business-carrying sectors of SRA,
- Other SRA engineering entities, including industry.
Our teams, organized by projects, are human-sized, dynamic, and have a strong team spirit.
The industrial site of Limours will allow you to discover the complete radar system as well as other engineering professions towards which you could evolve.
Autonomous, the Limours site also offers all the services you need: CE, company restaurant, concierge services...
Your profile
Do you have the ambition and desire to lead systems engineering activities?

- You encourage competitiveness and performance improvement.
- You have in-depth knowledge of capitalization, cost estimation, and knowledge management.
- You demonstrate a strong will for continuous improvement and an ability to develop a strategic vision: you are able to integrate and even anticipate the different elements of your environment to guide the team through the challenges raised by competitiveness.
