Now we’re looking for a Head GTM (Market & Competitive) to shape the future of Amber’s GTM engine. If you thrive at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing, and want to help redefine how enterprises listen, act, and enable their people, this role is for you.
What you’ll own (Responsibilities)
1. GTM Research & ICP Modeling :
- Lead deep-dive research into enterprise HR leaders (CHROs, HRBPs, HR Ops) across US, APAC, and India.
- Define and continuously refine ideal customer profiles (ICP) and buyer personas by segment, region, and industry.
- Build business cases for entering new segments, geographies, or product adjacencies.
2. Positioning & Messaging :
- Craft bold, differentiated narratives for Amber’s 3 capabilities: Listening, Automation & Communication.
- Translate product capabilities into crisp, compelling value propositions, use cases, and customer outcomes.
- Improve objection handling capabilities by solving for common questions like "Build vs buy" and "What's the ROI?"
3. Pricing & Packaging :
- Own pricing and packaging strategy for new and existing products.
- Benchmark against competitors, model revenue impact, and run pricing experiments.
- Use Case Development & Enablement
- Map Amber’s superpowers to employee journey use cases, workflows & integrations.
- Drive alignment across product, sales, and marketing on use case-led GTM.
4. Competitive Intelligence :
- Lead competitive research & win-loss analysis.
- Build and maintain a competitive playbook for Sales and Marketing.
- Identify gaps and opportunities to differentiate Amber in the HR Tech landscape.
5. Cross-functional Leadership :
- Work closely with Product to influence the roadmap with customer insights.
- Partner with Sales & Customer Success to gather market feedback and sharpen messaging.
- Collaborate with Growth & Demand Gen to design campaigns with a clear ICP fit.

Job requirements
What makes you a great fit (Requirements):
- 6–10 years of experience in GTM or Product Marketing at a fast-scaling B2B SaaS company (HR Tech a plus).
- Proven track record of owning GTM strategy, positioning, and pricing for enterprise SaaS products.
- Deep experience in ICP definition, competitive modeling, and sales enablement.
- Exceptional storytelling skills. Able to translate complex product features into clear, compelling business outcomes.
- Data-driven yet bold. Comfortable with research, but not afraid to take contrarian stances.
- Strong collaborator with experience working closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing leaders.
