Job Description

As Head of Industry, Large Customer Sales at Google, you will lead and strengthen a sales team focused on a small set of the world's largest restaurant advertisers. You will inspire the team with a compelling goal to identify client business issues and deliver value. You will run the day-to-day operations by setting clear goals, clearing roadblocks, and collaborating with fellow managers. You will also partner with business leadership to set vertical-wide objectives and build relationships across the Google network. Actively engaged with clients and agencies, you will build the business, develop a reputation for thought leadership, and demonstrate how Google products can enhance and transform businesses. Your responsibilities include structuring a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, leading a cross-functional team to drive client success, achieving growth goals through product presentations, and building relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$268,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives. 
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business issues, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Manage a team of Account Executives and Account Managers, set and communicate team priorities and make decisions and support activities that align with Google’s values.
