Your responsibilities:
- Create procedural environment assets in Houdini (houses, rocks, landscapes, vegetation, roads, cities);
- Develop procedural systems for assets and levels;
- Integrate Houdini assets and tools into game engine pipelines;
- Collaborate with artists and level designers to build cohesive environments;
- Maintain and support the Houdini digital asset library;
- Provide ongoing support for the Houdini toolset.
Our candidate should have:
- Strong expertise in Houdini, including the VEX language;
- Proven experience in environment modeling (procedural assets, architecture, natural objects);
- Solid understanding of game development pipelines and experience working with game engines;
- Portfolio with successful procedural environment asset projects;
- Previous experience in game development companies or creating content for games.
The advantage will be:
- Knowledge of 3ds Max;
- Experience integrating Houdini tools into other 3D applications;
- Broad technical background (scripting, tool development).
