Job Description
Flying Wild Hog is a game development studio known for titles like "Hard Reset," "Shadow Warrior," and "Evil West." They are seeking a Senior 3D Artist to sculpt high-poly and low-poly objects, create textures using Substance Painter/Designer, and integrate assets into UE5. The role involves maintaining production pipelines, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with a diverse team. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in the video games industry, strong modeling and texturing skills, and knowledge of PBR and 3D art optimization for AAA titles.
Must Have:
- Sculpting high-poly 3D objects
- Creating low-poly 3D objects
- Creating textures for 3D assets using Substance Painter/Designer or similar
- Importing and setup 3D assets and materials into UE5
- Maintaining the production pipeline and meeting deadlines
- Collaborate effectively with other artists, designers, Art Director, and Producer
- Experience in modelling and texturing a diverse visual range of environments
- 5 years of experience on a similar position in the video games industry
- Excellent skills in one of the leading modeling packages (3DS Max, Maya, etc.) and Substance Painter/Designer or similar
- Very good knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR)
- Understanding of MLS
- Creativity and an excellent eye for detail
- Understanding of 3D art optimization process for AAA titles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Ability to easily communicate in English
