Game Artist

Playtech, a leading technology company in the gambling industry, is seeking a creative Game Artist for its Origins studio. The role involves creating diverse art styles, game logos, marketing materials, and high-quality 2D assets and animations. The artist will actively participate in the game creation process, meet project deadlines, and collaborate with the Lead Artist and Game Producer to develop industry-leading games that captivate players.

Must Have

• 2-3 years+ industry experience
• High knowledge of Photoshop
• Good portfolio, understanding of digital/traditional and Graphic art techniques
• Graphic Design skills/experience (branding/logo design, typography, text layout, marketing banners, icons)
• Knowledge of game assets creation, export and optimisation
• Attention to detail and task specifications/requirements
• Self-motivation, excellent communication (intermediate English), organization skills, team spirit, proactivity
• Positive attitude for feedback
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change for fast-track projects

Good to Have

• Animation skills (Spine)
• Familiarity with art styles and trends in the gaming industry
• Professional experience in gaming industry or similar
• Jira knowledge
• Ability to find the perfect GIF for the perfect time!

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Create art in different styles, from realistic to cartoon
• Create game logos and marketing related materials for games/products, such as icons, banners, posters etc…
• Create and deliver high quality 2D assets and animation files, understanding platform specifications and requirements
• Create the necessary game/product previews
• Have active involvement in the game creation process by interacting with the Lead Artist and Game Producer
• Meet project deadlines and milestones

Qualifications

You will be part of a team striving to create incredible looking content which our customers love and will play a key role in creating the artwork for these titles which tens of thousands of players will see every day. You will have not only strong artistic skills, but also teamwork skills as you work with multiple stakeholders such as other artists, the Game Producer, Developers, Marketing, etc. We are looking for someone who wants to join us in making successful and beautiful content.
