Responsibilities
- Creating 3D animations for humans, animals, monsters, and props
- Delivering high-quality hand-keyed and mocap animations
- Communicating with the Gameplay Animation Lead to ensure a consistent style
- Working closely with programmers and designers to create gameplay mechanics
- Collaborating with production to ensure a high-quality project that meets our deadlines
Requirements
- At least 5 years of documented experience as a gameplay animator
- Very good knowledge of MotionBuilder
- Skill in animating the human figure to create realistic animations
- Experience in working with motion capture data
- Good communication skills and experience collaborating closely with designers and programmers
- Good understanding of keyframe animation principles and the ability to apply this knowledge to animation creation
- Good understanding of game design principles and how to create animations that support the gameplay
- Comfortable working in a game engine editor (Unreal Engine knowledge is a plus)
- Proficiency in English
Nice to have
- Good knowledge of Maya
- Experience in animating realistic creatures
- Experience working on a third-person-perspective action game
