The HR Generalist is a crucial role aimed at supporting the HR Enablement function. This role is centered on the execution of HR initiatives, ensuring smooth operation of day-to-day human resources tasks, and contributing to a cohesive employee experience that aligns with the company’s culture and values. The HR Generalist will be a key resource for our employees and Managers to ensure the successful deployment of HR Policies and Process as well as a key contact point for coaching our Managers. This role requires the ability to work on site in our Pawtucket, RI office 3 days per week.
Must have:

The HR Generalist is a crucial role aimed at supporting the HR Enablement function. This role is centered on the execution of HR initiatives, ensuring smooth operation of day-to-day human resources tasks, and contributing to a cohesive employee experience that aligns with the company’s culture and values. The HR Generalist will be a key resource for our employees and Managers to ensure the successful deployment of HR Policies and Process as well as a key contact point for coaching our Managers.

 

This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to work on site in our Pawtucket, RI office 3 days per week.

 

A day in the life of an HR Generalist:

  • Provide coaching to managers on HR policies and processes.
  • Facilitate and/or support key HR activities such as talent management, total rewards cycles (merit/bonus planning), engagement, learning and development, career coaching, mentoring, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Collaborate on initiatives with the global enablement team, HRBP’s, and COE’s throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Serve as a key operational contact for employees and managers on HR-related queries and issues.
  • Act as an advocate for employee concerns, providing insights on employee sentiment, workplace culture, and morale.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and adherence to company policies.
  • Support the execution and management of HR policies and practices adhering to the strategic direction set by regional HR leadership.
  • Work closely with the company's shared services team to deliver efficient HR services.
  • Support organizational change management, facilitating smooth transitions during periods of change.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations when necessary.

 

What you'll bring:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in the Human Resources field, with a track record of supporting HR functions and initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented mentality towards both employees and managers.
  • Familiarity with local employment laws and regulations, as well as best practices in HR.
  • Proficient in the use of HR information systems and office productivity software.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to learn and contribute to team success.

The base salary range for this position is $86,500.00 to $129,800.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
