The HR Intern supports the people function (HR) processes, directly impacting Philips' med-tech products, by collaborating with stakeholders and handling daily operational tasks. This role involves maintaining quality, meeting continuous improvement goals, conducting research on HR topics, analyzing data for trends, and executing actions efficiently. The intern will also participate in HR meetings, offer ideas, capture minutes, prepare reports, organize documentation, and stay updated on industry trends.

Must Have:
  • Support day-to-day HR function activities, including operational tasks.
  • Aid in HR domain work like employee orientation, direct labor hiring, talent subsidy, development programs, engagement, and performance management.
  • Involve and provide support to Site HR Projects.
  • Conduct research and analyze data on People relevant topics for Suzhou MPP.
  • Active student status at the University.
  • Minimum 3 days/week availability.
  • At least 4 months commitment, 6 months preferred.

Job Profile Summary:

The Intern is responsible for managing people function (HR) support process which has a direct impact on Philips' med-tech products (e.g. production processes within Manufacturing) by collaborating with stakeholders and for supporting daily activities typically involving hands-on, operational tasks essential for maintaining our quality and to meet dynamic and continuous improvement goals, exercising autonomy within established procedures. The role conducts research on HR topics, analyzes data to identify significant trends and executes actions with efficiency. The role participates in HR relevant meetings, offering innovative ideas and capturing detailed minutes, while also preparing and presenting accurate reports for stakeholders. The role also organizes and maintains departmental documentation, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance, and stays updated on industry trends and best practices, displaying a growth mindset.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the day-to-day activities of people (HR) function, typically involving hands-on, operational tasks essential for maintaining process quality and to meet dynamic and continuous improvement goals, exercising autonomy within established procedures. Aids in HR domain work including employee orientation training, direct labor hiring, talent subsidy application, talent development programs, employee engagement follow up, offline performance management process, etc. Involve & provide support to Site HR Projects. Conducts research & analyzes data on People relevant topics and areas as requested by Suzhou MPP (Manufacturing People Partner) by investigating current trends, best practices and competitive landscape to provide insights and support the direction & execution of ongoing projects and initiatives Other work as assigned by Suzhou MPP (Manufacturing People Partner)

Qualifications:

Active student status at the University Master student is preferred

Min 3 days/week

At least 4 months,6 months preferred.

Work Experience:

Prefer to have intern experience in MNCs

Preferred Competence/Skills

Good communication in both Chinese & English Good collaboration with people Strong ownership with can-do attitude Microsoft Office Research & Analysis Digital & AI tools user
