HSE Specialist - Turner & Townsend - Talent Pool, Brazil
Job Description
- Report the EHS (Health, Safety and Environment) control matrix of legal aspects, according to the type of works, processes and people.
- Manage Health and Safety Systems on a large-scale construction project; and assist the Construction Manager in implementing HS procedures carried out on site.
- Ensure that work methods are executed in accordance with legal and company requirements.
- Ensure that work methods are executed in accordance with the main contractor's contracted scope and with the MSs (Safety Methodologies).
- Perform and ensure adequate training and competence checks for the site team and subcontractors.
- Schedule Monthly EHS Activities and KPI.
- Report Daily/Weekly/Monthly Services.
- Develop the HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) plan and support its execution incorporating OSHA standards.
- Safety Engineer qualification.
- Relevant experience in occupational safety, occupational health and environment in infrastructure, energy or projects operations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Gap assessment and identification of safety deficiencies.
- Advanced experience with the MS Office suite (Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English.
