The Imaging Operations Specialist is responsible for the entire document lifecycle, including logistics, transport, document processing, digitization, and data management. Key tasks involve warehouse management, document preparation, operating high-performance scanners, visual quality checks, data entry, and ensuring smooth logistical processes. The role requires strong organizational skills, precision, and a high degree of quality awareness.

The IMAGING SPECIALIST is responsible for the entire document lifecycle. Tasks are assigned by the Task Lead or Team Lead according to current needs and include, among others:

Tasks:

Logistics and Transport:

  • Warehouse management, goods receipt and issue, and shipping preparation, including maintenance of relevant IRM systems.
  • Contact with other IRM departments as well as subcontractors or customers to ensure a complete logistics process.
  • Collection and transport of documents (e.g., daily mail, customer collections) with the company vehicle, if assigned and appropriate driving license (license class) is available.
  • Vehicle maintenance and control, if vehicle use is assigned.

Document Processing and Digitization:

  • Careful preparation of documents, including unclipping, repair, and establishing the correct order.
  • Categorization and assignment of documents to specific document types.
  • Operation of high-performance scanners and execution of scanning processes, both at the workplace and directly at the customer's site.
  • Visual inspection of image quality according to work instructions.
  • Printing of barcodes for identification, control, labeling, and archiving of processed batches.

Data Management

  • Recording of boxes and documents in IT systems.
  • Order creation and checking of reference lists.
  • Searching for and providing requested documents.
  • Compliance with warehouse regulations and occupational safety regulations.

Additional Requirements

  • Creation of IT support tickets when disruptions occur throughout the document lifecycle.
  • Support for project-related document management tasks.
  • Responsibility for smooth logistical processes, including vehicle use.
  • Precise and efficient processing and digitization of documents, also at the customer's site.
  • Conscientious data management and archiving.

  • Desired experience with indexing, preparation, and high-performance scanners.
  • Reliable, flexible, team and communication skills.
  • Trustworthy handling of customer data.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • High quality awareness and consistent performance.
  • Basic PC skills advantageous, e.g., Excel.
  • Languages: Native German language skills, basic English skills would be an advantage.
  • Driving license class B.
