We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd. Our recent acquisition of Blackshore, a leading global network, talent management and marketing agency, opens exciting opportunities for both businesses by bringing together two industry leaders who share a common vision to entertain.

Blackshore Inc is in search of a driven Influencer Partnership Representative to join our growing team and help expand our roster of YouTube talent.

In this role, you will build and manages sales pipelines, connect with creators through outreach and referrals, and support negotiations to bring new influencers into our talent agency.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in remote work, is confident with cold outreach and relationship-building, and brings creativity to identifying opportunities that will help influencers grow their careers while creating win-win partnerships.

This is a high-impact role with clear performance objectives tied to signing top-tier talent and generating meaningful revenue. You will collaborate closely with management to refine pitches, track results, and onboard talent, playing a key role in strengthening talent relationships, driving growth and ensuring retention.

This is a full-time independent contractor position to be worked remotely.

Requirements

In the scope of your duties, you will be tasked with a variety of important responsibilities that are crucial to the success of our team and organization. Specifically, you will be expected to:

Business Development & Sales

  • Lead sales initiatives targeting potential Talent Management clients, taking full ownership of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Leverage established industry connections to secure new opportunities within the talent sector.

Sales Pipeline and Cold Outreach

  • Work in conjunction with management to refine our pitch, services, and the definition of our ideal customer profiles.
  • Collaborate with management to create sales pipelines and maximize the utilization of Hubspot for tracking and evaluating outreach activities and results.
  • Draft email communications, track results, and make necessary modifications and improvements.
  • Engage proactively with YouTube talent through cold outreach, tailored communication, email campaigns, referrals, networking, targeted initiatives, and other strategies to initiate conversations and arrange calls that introduce YouTube talent to Blackshore’s network and services.

Lead Generation

  • Identify and acquire leads, including YouTube channels and influencers.
  • Work alongside management to create additional tools and strategies for lead generation, which may involve channel scraping or utilizing a virtual assistant.

Recruit New YouTube Talent

  • Manage negotiations, develop proposals, and establish talent management partnerships with new YouTube talent.

Talent Onboarding and Retention

  • Facilitate the onboarding of talent and support their transition to the talent management team.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships to promote client retention.
  • Work with the wider team to enhance talent satisfaction.

Industry Awareness

  • Keep track of YouTube trends to discover opportunities for engaging with emerging talent.
  • Stay updated on competitor strategies to improve our understanding of how our services fit within the broader market landscape.

Sales Goals and Reporting

  • Strive to achieve set sales goals and objectives, positively impacting the company’s revenue targets.
  • Consistently report on sales performance and progress.

Other Services and Materials

  • Partner with Blackshore’s COO to develop and adjust the contractor’s roles and responsibilities as required.
  • Perform additional services and deliverables as requested by the Company from time to time, at the Company’s discretion, relating to the Contractor’s role.
