Rebellion Unplugged is seeking a proactive and creative Freelance Crowdfunding Campaign Manager to lead high-profile board game and RPG crowdfunding projects. The role involves developing engaging campaigns, managing assets, executing multi-channel marketing, overseeing live campaigns, and supporting post-campaign activities like pledge management and reporting. Must have:
  • Develop engaging rewards, pledge levels, and campaign pages.
  • Brief and deliver campaign assets (graphics, videos, updates, social content).
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (social media, newsletters, influencer outreach).
  • Manage live crowdfunding campaigns, including backer responses and performance monitoring.
  • Support post-campaign activities like pledge managers, backer communications, and reporting.

Description

Have you successfully run large, high-profile campaigns for board games and RPGs? We’re looking for a proactive and creative freelancer to work with us on our upcoming crowdfunding projects at Rebellion Unplugged.

We are an award-winning publisher of Board Games, RPGs, Comics, Graphic Novels, Fiction, and Non-Fiction, including 2000 AD and Judge Dredd. We are also home to Solaris, an award-winning publisher of science fiction, fantasy, and horror with authors including Adrian Tchaikovsky, Lavanya Lakshminarayan, and Aliya Whiteley, and Unplugged, publisher of the acclaimed Sniper Elite board game.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with an award-winning independent publisher, bringing some incredible games to life with ambitious campaigns and a passionate community behind them.

Tasks may include:

  • Developing engaging rewards, pledge levels, and campaign pages to maximise backer interest.
  • Briefing and delivering campaign assets (graphics, videos, updates, social content) in collaboration with design teams.
  • Planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including social media, newsletters, and influencer outreach.
  • Managing live crowdfunding campaigns by responding to backers, posting updates, and monitoring performance.
  • Supporting post-campaign activity such as pledge managers, backer communications, and reporting on budgets, fulfilment, and shipping.
