Job Details

Background

Currently, GREE Group is promoting business diversification and strengthening its revenue base, with three core areas: "Games," "Metaverse," and "DX." In particular, the Metaverse business (REALITY) recorded its highest-ever sales in the most recent quarter, attracting attention as a new growth driver.

Amidst these dynamic changes, the back-office divisions supporting these changes are also required to respond more strategically and flexibly. The HR System Specialist position we are recruiting for will be responsible for optimizing various systems that support the foundation of this transformation, in line with the rapid changes in the organization. We welcome challenges from those who want to feel the impact of shaping the company's future with significant discretion.

Job Responsibilities

You will be broadly involved in the following tasks related to the GREE Group's common HR systems:

  • System Planning and Requirements Definition
  • In collaboration with the HR department, you will plan system implementations based on business strategies, legal revisions, and operational issues on the ground. You will lead from the earliest stages, from business process analysis to requirements definition and specification formulation.
  • Promotion of Implementation Projects and Vendor Management
  • In system implementation and modification projects, you will act as a project manager to drive the plan. You will be responsible for controlling the entire project, from managing budget, progress, and quality, to negotiating and collaborating with external vendors.
  • Operation, Maintenance, and Improvement of HR-related Systems
  • You will ensure the stable operation of systems used daily by employees, from core systems (SAP HCM) to various tools for attendance, payroll, and evaluation. You will identify potential issues through internal inquiries and link them to continuous operational improvements.
  • Development and Operation of In-house Tools
  • While using packaged products as a base, for areas not covered by them, you will combine them with in-house tools utilizing Google Workspace / Google Cloud to build an optimal system environment.

Appeal of the Position

  • Great sense of accomplishment in designing "ease of work" for all employees
  • Improvements to HR systems directly impact the productivity and ease of work across the entire group. You can resolve inefficient processes that occur in daily operations through your own efforts, in addition to essential tasks like responding to legal revisions.
  • From HR domain professional to Corporate IT generalist
  • Initially, you will deepen your expertise in the HR domain, but in the future, you can also challenge other corporate IT areas such as accounting and legal. There is a career path to steadily improve your skills to become a professional who can oversee the entire company's operations and systems, not just one area.

Application Requirements

  • Negotiation and coordination skills with external vendors and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Programming experience in web application development.
  • Data processing and analysis skills using BI tools and SQL.

  • Basic understanding of HR domain business processes such as labor management, employment contracts, and payroll calculation.
  • Development/operation experience using platforms such as SAP, Google Cloud, and ServiceNow.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Those who enjoy finding challenges and setting up mechanisms themselves in chaotic situations, rather than in a perfectly established environment.
  • Those who do not limit their scope of responsibility, but think about what they can do for the organization and act proactively.
  • Those who can patiently communicate with staff from different specialized departments and build consensus.
