Job Content

You play an important role in a strong sales team. You are an indispensable link between customers/prospects and account managers. You are responsible for performing inbound and outbound calls to support the sales team.

Your customer portfolio consists of SMEs and Accountancy firms. Thanks to strong customer contacts, you succeed in developing new business, scheduling appointments for account managers, and achieving the set targets.

As a starter, you get the chance here to gradually get to know the sales world and develop yourself professionally.

Your tasks include the following:

  • You manage commercial inquiries that come in via our website, question customers, and convince them of our products and services. You generate their interest for an appointment with an account manager.
  • You follow up on our marketing actions through targeted calling.
  • You approach potential customers through telephonic prospecting. In addition, you follow up on leads from your sales colleagues who are on the road.
  • You listen carefully to the needs of your prospects. You prepare offers, conclude agreements, and provide perfect aftercare. You detect signals and developments among customers regarding specific sales actions.
  • You meticulously follow up on all of this administratively. You register all customer contacts and opportunities in our CRM database and continuously enrich it.
  • You continuously learn about our products and customers and share this knowledge with your colleagues. You continuously refine your commercial approach and that of the team and share your 'best practices'.
  • You keep an eye on the market and are aware of the most important trends and provide input for future product developments.

You report to the Sales Manager and can work from our offices in Mechelen or Ghent in combination with flexible home working options (60%).

Profile

  • You radiate enthusiasm and have a positive attitude. You are eager to learn and driven to continuously improve yourself.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting (from secondary school, evening course, on the job,...) is a plus, but certainly not a must.
  • You enjoy making telephone contacts with people; your professional attitude on the phone makes it easy to build relationships.
  • You ensure flawless administrative follow-up of every customer file. You are stress-resistant and work accurately and autonomously.
  • You speak fluent Dutch, knowledge of French is a plus.
  • You master MS Office and have an interest in software.
