As an Instructional Design Specialist, you will play a key role in creating and continuously improving customer education through innovative and engaging learning solutions. You will design across multiple instructional delivery modalities, including eLearning and just-in-time performance support, using creative approaches that inspire learners and empower customer self-service.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of instructional designers and content creators, ensuring high-quality, innovative training solutions.
- Design and deliver role-based learning programs that combine e-learning, multimedia, and interactive modules, applying adult learning principles to drive engagement and performance.
- Manage and enhance the LMS to optimize content delivery, learner tracking, and the overall user experience.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to align training content with organizational goals, evolving roles, and DraftKings products and processes.
- Stay current with learning technologies and instructional design practices to continuously improve training effectiveness and team output.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design or learning content development, with a bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 1 year of leadership experience, with the ability to guide, mentor, or oversee others in delivering learning solutions.
- Proficiency in tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), video/audio editing, and SCORM production.
- Experience in marketing or customer training, with a strong customer-first mindset and drive to continually raise the bar on learner experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, engaging content.
- Innovative and progress-driven, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 73,600.00 USD - 92,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations.
