As an Intern, Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team by analyzing data, developing visualizations, and ensuring data integrity, all while collaborating on innovative projects. You will be responsible for reviewing and identifying data inconsistencies, developing validation checks, and designing the R Shiny dashboard. Additionally, you will implement clear visualizations for pay premiums and salary movements, maintain clear documentation, and support the preparation of client materials. We are seeking a talented individual to join our Compensation Consulting team at Mercer. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. 

As an Intern, Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team by analyzing data, developing visualizations, and ensuring data integrity, all while collaborating on innovative projects.

We will count on you to:

  • Review and identify data inconsistencies or outliers using statistical methods.
  • Develop validation checks to ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate on the design of the R Shiny dashboard (both front-end and back-end).
  • Implement clear visualizations for pay premiums, salary movements, merit increments, and industry comparisons using packages such as ggplot2, plotly, and Shiny.
  • Maintain clear documentation of the development process to ensure project continuity and facilitate team collaboration.
  • Support the preparation of materials for client workshops, including presentations and reports.

What you need to have:

  • Proficient in R programming, Python, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of analytics fundamentals and relevant human resource practices.
  • Fundamental knowledge of machine learning and generative AI.
