Job Description

As an International Project Manager for IT/PLM projects in the aerospace industry, you will lead projects using both Waterfall and agile methodologies. Responsibilities include defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, developing project plans, managing risks, and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. You will also facilitate team meetings and collaborate on process improvements to deliver projects within time and budget while maintaining high quality standards.
Must have:
  • Lead IT/PLM projects in the aerospace industry.
  • Plan, execute, and deliver PLM projects within time and budget.
  • Ensure all project requirements, including technical specifications and compliance, are met.
  • Manage project risks and issues.
  • Facilitate team meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Conduct project status meetings and provide regular reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, project management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects using Waterfall and agile methods.
  • Familiarity with PLM tools and software (3Dx, CATIA, ENOVIA, Windchill).
  • Fluent in English, very good French, and German at least B2 level.
  • Willingness to travel.

Job Description

What tasks await you

For the management of our IT / PLM projects in the aerospace industry, our company is looking for an experienced project manager with expertise in both Waterfall and agile project management frameworks. As a project manager, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of PLM projects within the time and budget framework and in compliance with the highest quality standards.

Your tasks in detail:

  • Close cooperation with cross-functional teams in defining project scope, objectives, and results
  • Development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets using Waterfall and agile methods
  • Ensuring that all project requirements, including technical specifications and compliance with regulations, are met
  • Management of project risks and issues and timely communication with stakeholders
  • Facilitation of team meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Collaboration with the development team to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
  • Ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders, including project team members, senior management, customers, and suppliers
  • Conducting project status meetings with the project team and management
  • Providing regular project status reports and metrics for stakeholders

Qualifications

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the aerospace industry or in the IT sector
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects using Waterfall and agile methods
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with PLM tools and software (3Dx, CATIA, ENOVIA, Windchill,...)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Negotiation fluent in English, very good French skills; German at least B2 level is required
  • PMP and Agile certification is a plus

Communication skills, a proactive approach, and service orientation are just as important to us as technical expertise. Accordingly, we also expect willingness to travel and good English skills.
