Nasdaq is a leading global provider of trading, clearing, and exchange technology. This role as an IT Operations & Cloud Specialist involves running and supporting IT operations for high-availability systems, remediating incidents, deploying applications, and managing configuration changes. The specialist will also participate in projects to enhance automation and platform reliability, maintain documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and performance, including supporting CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
Must have:
  • Run and support IT operations for high-availability, scalable systems (on-premises and cloud).
  • Remediate incidents, deploy applications, and manage configuration changes for new releases.
  • Participate in projects to enhance automation, process improvements, and platform reliability.
  • Maintain and improve operational documentation and knowledge bases.
  • Collaborate with technical owners and cross-functional teams to deliver on SLAs and business initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring system stability, resiliency, and performance.
  • Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • On-call rotation after probation period for business-critical incidents or agreed in advanced maintenance work.
  • Experience in IT operations, system administration, or application support in a global or enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS), including deployment models and automation.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate and fulfill tasks within deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Good to have:
  • Professional certifications (ITIL, Cloud Technologies, Kubernetes or Agile related).
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and Windows systems.
  • Scripting/programming skills.
  • Understanding of networking, virtualization, and security best practices.
  • Experience in financial services, trading, or post-trade systems.

About the Role

As an IT Operations & Cloud Specialist, you will:

  • Run and support IT operations for high-availability, scalable systems (on-premises and cloud).
