As a (Junior) Data Analyst Advertising at Media Impact GmbH & Co. KG, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of journalism in the digital media world. Your role involves analyzing large datasets to evaluate the performance of marketing products, monitoring advertising product success, and planning and implementing digital projects. You will proactively identify market needs, develop business areas, and support data strategy expansion, collaborating closely with product, data, programmatic, operations, and brand teams.

What you will move with us:

  • You analyze large datasets for performance evaluation of marketing products.
  • Monitor, manage, and control the success of advertising products.
  • You plan extensive digital projects, structure them, and implement them.
  • You proactively identify market and customer requirements in advertising and further develop these business areas.
  • You support the expansion of the data strategy and its use for our business models.
  • Work closely with various teams and departments: Product Team, Data, Programmatic, Operations, and the brands (Bild, Welt, etc.).

What you bring:

  • You have initial experience in project and/or product management in advertising, with a marketer or an agency - but this is not a must.
  • Ideally, you have a basic understanding and initial practical experience in dealing with advertising technologies (Adserver, DSP, SSP, DMP) and their application.
  • Working in Excel and with numbers comes easily to you; your experience with Data Visualization Platforms, such as Tableau and Foundry, is an advantage.
  • Among your abilities is recognizing problems, presenting them in a structured and understandable way, and developing solutions.
  • Together with others, you achieve the best results, can communicate them clearly, and take responsibility in difficult situations.
  • You have very good German skills (min. C1) and good English skills (min. B2).
