Job Description

The Digital Product Management team at Media Impact is responsible for the overarching product strategy. We are looking for a Junior Digital Product Manager to develop products from idea to market establishment across various channels like Display, Video, Native, Social Media & Performance. You will monitor product success, adjust as needed, and serve as a product expert for internal departments. Must have:
  • Significantly support the cross-brand monetization of our digital portfolio
  • Focus on display products, with comprehensive know-how in video, native, social media & performance
  • Manage products across the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch, including integration into existing marketing approaches, offer calculation, and monitoring
  • Identify new trends and optimization potentials through market observations
  • Support in creating market, competitor, and performance analyses to derive concrete recommendations for action
  • Act as an interface to publishing colleagues, operations, ad technology, brand management, and marketing partners for optimal setup and smooth campaign processing
  • Completed degree in economics or marketing-oriented studies or comparable qualification
  • Ability to recognize problems, present them structured and understandably, and develop solutions
  • Ability to achieve best results with others, communicate clearly, and convince others of your product
  • Quick analytical comprehension
  • Self-organized work routine
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Take responsibility and show initiative in difficult situations
  • Very good German skills (min. C1)
  • Good English skills (min. B2)

We, the Digital Product Management team, are responsible for the overarching product strategy at Media Impact and are looking for you as a Junior Digital Product Manager. Whether Display, Video, Native or Social Media & Performance - we develop suitable products for every channel from the idea to market establishment, monitor their success, adjust if necessary, and as product experts, are contact persons for many adjacent areas in the company.

What you will move with us:

  • Significantly support the cross-brand monetization of our digital portfolio
  • Your focus will primarily be on our display products, but we will of course also provide you with comprehensive know-how in the areas of video, native, social media & performance
  • You manage your products throughout the entire product lifecycle, from conception to going live, including integration into existing marketing approaches, offer calculation and monitoring, management of external service providers, and much more.
  • Your market observations lead to the early identification of new trends and optimization potentials for our products
  • You support the creation of market, competitor, and performance analyses to derive concrete recommendations for action for our products
  • You form the interface to our publishing colleagues, the operations, ad technology and brand management departments, as well as our marketing partners for an optimal marketing setup, the coordination of ideas and requirements, and smooth campaign processing

What you bring:

  • You have a completed degree in economics, marketing-oriented studies or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally, you already have initial experience in digital marketing - but this is not a must
  • Your skills include recognizing problems, presenting them in a structured and understandable way, and developing solutions
  • Together with others, you achieve the best results, communicate them clearly, and know how to convince others of your product
  • You have a quick analytical comprehension, organize your daily work independently, and count PowerPoint and Excel among your good friends
  • In difficult situations, you take responsibility and show initiative
  • You have very good German skills (min. C1) and good English skills (min. B2)
